at 9:00am our English Speaking guide will meet the group at the hotel lobby and start the tour with a visit to Bahrain National Museum for a walk through a wonderful collection of exhibits, from contemporary Bahraini paintings, sculptures and ceramics, to scenes depicting life in the Delmon civilization of 6000 years ago, and even a reconstructed burial mound, complete with skeleton. View the beauty of Arabic calligraphy, including a beautiful display of illuminated Qur’ans and other religious documents. Take closer look at traditional trades and crafts, which are cleverly displayed in a reconstruction of a typical souq of the 1930s. Then your driver will take you to Bahrain Bay fully Master Planned development with a total property area of 1.45 million sqm, subdivided into 34 plots.

Reflecting its prime position in the centre of Manama, the Development features iconic, high quality structures in a unique waterfront location facing – across the water of Bahrain Bay – ‘The Avenues’, the World Trade Centre and the Manama Diplomatic Area. Then head over to Visit Muharaq island, Muharraq “is known for its cultural contributions through the many restored traditional Bahraini houses that can be found amidst the narrow lanes and byways. The last stop is Qalat Al Bahrain (Portuguese fort) Thought to be once the centre of power for the ancient Dilmun civilisation, Qalat al Bahrain (Bahrain Fort) has UNESCO World Heritage status. The Bahrain Fort occupies a strategic military position where the navigation movement could be watched. Excavations have revealed ancient soldier’s barracks, horse stables, an ammunition depot, a secret passageway, ceramic utensils and Islamic and Chinese currency coins.
