  • Bahrain National Museum Walking guided tour, the museum was inaugurated in 1988 and houses 9 main halls and classifies the accumulated heritage of the Kingdom of Bahrain into 6 different sections. Visitors to the museum will be taken on a 4,000-year journey through time as they pass through its halls, from the traditional handicrafts hall, to the customs and traditions hall, burial mounds hall, ancient documents and manuscripts hall, Tylos hall, and Islamic period hall.

  • Bahrain Bay Bahrain Bay, You will see Manama the capital of Bahrain and all famous buildings in the country. This 19th century ruling family residence in Muharraq Island is Bahrain’s most impressive example of Gulf Islamic architecture featuring four courtyards, beautiful carved wooden doors and perforated gypsum panels.  Then walking between old houses of Muharraq, painstakingly renovated by culture lover Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa. It has all the visual delights of old Arabia with the narrow lanes and close cluster of houses. You visit the newly renovated Ebrahim Bin Mohd Al Khalifa house.   • Start your tour to visit Bahrain International Circuit one of the best formula one track in the world. this 180 million dollar facility is a perfect  example  of tradition  design  and the most modern track .it offers a unique range of facilities that are unparallel not in the  middle east but in the world.

 

  • Once you finish you will get a glimpse of the Royal camels (nearby F1 Circuit) which are kept in normal desert conditions at the Endurance Village you can see them there’ll be time to take pictures with the humped mammals

 

  • Next Drive past the Awali Town. It was the first centrally located Air–condition town in Bahrain. It is also the staff headquarters and accommodation for foreign officials of BAPCO (Bahrain Petroleum Company).

 

  • Bahrain was the first country on the Arabian side of the Arabian Gulf where oil was struck. You’ll visit the aptly-named First Oil Well where Bahrain’s oil industry began more than 89 years ago. In fact Bahrain’s first well was studded in October 1931, “Well Number 1,” now a landmark tourist site in Bahrain, once produced 9,600 barrels a day the first oil well.

 

  • Next to Jabel AL Dukhan dubbed the mountain of smoke the highest point of the island.

 

  • Next visit will be Tree of Life. An Acacia tree which survives itself for more than 400 years in the middle of the Bahrain desert without any water supply. Some believe this tree belongs to the Garden of Eden.

  • King Fahd Causeway 25 KLM Bridge links Bahrain to Saudi Arabia. This is currently the only land link Bahrain has with the outside world, we will drive to halfway till the middle where the border you will see entry and Exit spots for both Saudi and Bahrain.

 

  • Bahrain Military Museum (35 MNT) The Bahrain Military Museum is a must-visit for any history buffs thanks to its collections of weapons, uniforms and documents of the Kingdom’s defence forces over the decades. Visitors can also see who was ruling Bahrain over the ages, and check out jeeps and horses used for transporting soldiers.

  • Aali Royal Burial Mounds, The burial grounds include “21 archaeological sites in the western part of the island” built between 2050 and 1750 BC, according to the global body. UNESCO said the burial mounds were evidence of the early Dilmun civilization, “during which Bahrain became a trade hub, whose prosperity enabled the inhabitants to develop an elaborate burial tradition applicable to the entire population.

 

  • Aali potery.  Biggest pottery handicraft center. Visit their workshop and see the potters in action, using the old-fashioned foot operated wheel, and baking the finished pots in kilns built into the nearby burial mounds; a traditional method passed down through generations. They create beautiful pots and handicrafts of virtually every size and style imaginable, from naturally finished to brightly colored pieces.

 

 

  • SK Salman Bin Ahmed Al Fateh Fort, Old building, overlooking the Hunainaya Valley, but, the amazing thing about it is its architecture. It is a sandstone structure, which was home to royal families of the 19th century, with 35 rooms packed in a three square yard area. Built during the 17th century, it was converted into a residence for royal family during the 18th century. From then on, Riffa Fort was home to members of royal family and an official seat of government.
